back then there were at least 3 from italy,3 from spain,only 1 from uk really,1 from germany.There was no english domination like in 05-08 era,or spanish-freak accidents domination like 09-present.And the final was pretty entertaining,the better team won,and there were plenty of occasions,at least in the first 90 mins
yeah the final didnt live up to the expectations,but this season was by far the best in CL history,remember waht incredible ties and games were back then:milan-inter,real-juve semis,real-man utd,juve-barca,inter-valencia,ajax-milan quarters(ajax n valencia were top class back then),in the 2nd gropu phase u had barca-inter-newcastle,valencia-ajax-arsenal-roma,milan-real-dortmund and man utd-juve-super depor.CL back then was alot better,now u have 2 super teams in spain,back then there were like 8

I remember majority on my class were rooting for RuBe(Juve) and were saying Milan had no chance…….then we won and the other day was just epic
