Welcome
CHAMPS is a program focused on healthy aging. Our goal is to support what older adults identify as important in their spiritual, physical, emotional, social and financial lives.
Although focused on older adults, CHAMPS views healthy aging as a process that should involve people at all ages supporting each other.
CHAMPS affiliated ministries, programs and services are open to all interested individuals in the church and community.
CHAMPS was designed to be a reproducible model. We are partnering with other churches to assist them in developing their own unique approach to serving the needs of their congregation and community as they age.
In the initial partnership phase, CHAMPS has been working with St. Paul's Lutheran, Faith Westwood United Methodist and St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church.
CHAMPS continues to develop a variety of resources and make them available to any congregation wanting to develop ministries focused on healthy aging. Through our website we are able to serve congregations outside of our area in rural communities and other states.
